Acuren Inspection is currently hiring for a Quality Manager to support our Operations in Akron, OH. The Quality Manager reports to the Division Manager and works with all levels of the organization to improve the quality culture. The incumbent will work with other Quality Managers to develop plans, procedures and training to accomplish these goals.

Responsibilities

  • Design and coordinate periodic audits for on-the-job quality performance.
  • Perform internal quality systems audits, including non-destructive testing method audits.
  • Ensures required quality records and documentation are maintained.
  • Prepare, assist and lead facility through second-and third-party audits.
  • Maintains regional statistics and prepares monthly reports.
  • Develop and promote quality training programs.
  • Review and approve internal corrective action reports.
  • Works as the liaison with client quality personnel, participates in pre-job meetings, post-job reviews, and obtain feedback on quality performance for use in improving programs.
  • Review and approve specific details for quality-related purchase orders.
  • Provides leadership relative to new methods and approaches toward improving quality within the region.

Requirements

  • Candidate should have a minimum of 10 years’ experience in the field of NDT.
  • Candidate should possess at minimum; Level II certifications in UT, MT, PT, RT, VT.
  • ASNT Level III’s in some or all preferably.
  • Candidate should have familiarity in all fields additional to the aforementioned;
  • Eddy Current, Computed and Digital Radiography, PAUT, TOFD, etc.
  • The objective is to have an individual capable of calibrating equipment, certifying technicians, QA audits, etc. and able to maintain QA compliance within Acuren’s designated online databases.
  • Candidate must be proficient with basic software i.e. Microsoft office, Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Microsoft Excel, along with Acrobat Adobe, etc. Experience with Auto-cad would be considered an asset.
  • Excellent technical and non-technical verbal and written communication skills.
  • Self-starter, enthusiastic, energized team player.
