The Senior Business Development Coordinator will serve as a subject matter expert (SME) for HubSpot and a CRM strategy leader, driving sales process excellence and operational efficiency across the Testing, Inspection, Certification, and Compliance (TICC) sector. In addition to identifying, qualifying, and nurturing opportunities, this role will design, manage, and optimize CRM workflows, enabling the sales team to perform at peak efficiency.

This individual will handle data analytics, solve CRM-related issues, and collaborate with Territory Sales Managers (TSMs) and leadership to refine lead management processes. The position will also balance “outside-the-box” sales needs with system organization and data integrity, ensuring alignment between business goals and platform capabilities. The role has the potential to evolve into a management position overseeing HubSpot administration, sales metrics, and system-wide implementation.

Responsibilities

CRM & HubSpot Leadership:

  • Serve as the primary HubSpot administrator and SME, ensuring optimal configuration and usage across the sales organization.
  • Develop, implement, and manage sales workflows within HubSpot, aligned to the full customer lifecycle.
  • Maintain data integrity through consistent oversight of CRM records, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and usability for reporting and decision-making.
  • Diagnose and resolve CRM-related challenges, working directly with sales and marketing teams to improve adoption and functionality.
  • Design custom dashboards, reports, and analytics to track KPIs, conversion rates, and pipeline health.

Sales Process Development & Optimization:

  • Partner with TSMs, sales executives, and leadership to optimize lead management, qualification, and handoff processes.
  • Identify opportunities for automation within the sales process to reduce manual effort and improve conversion rates.
  • Ensure that all CRM-driven sales processes are documented, repeatable, and scalable for future growth.
  • Act as a bridge between marketing and sales to ensure campaigns, lead scoring, and follow-up workflows are fully aligned.

Lead Generation & Qualification:

  • Source and qualify leads from multiple channels (HubSpot, industry databases, inbound marketing, referrals, trade shows, LinkedIn, and other digital platforms).
  • Assess opportunities based on client needs, industry segment, and potential service alignment within the TICC space.
  • Assign and track leads in HubSpot, ensuring timely follow-up and progression through the sales funnel.

Market Intelligence & Reporting:

  • Monitor and analyze industry trends, competitive activities, and regulatory changes that impact the TICC market.
  • Provide actionable insights to leadership based on CRM analytics and market research.
  • Deliver regular reports on campaign effectiveness, pipeline performance, and revenue impact.

Collaboration & Communication:

  • Liaise with technical, operational, and marketing teams to ensure accurate representation of services to prospects.
  • Conduct HubSpot training for new and existing sales team members to maximize efficiency and adoption.
  • Serve as a strategic advisor to leadership on CRM-related initiatives and sales process improvements.
