Acuren is currently recruiting for temporary level II UT Techs w/ISQ for fall TAR work.
Perform Level II ultrasonic testing (UT) in accordance with applicable procedures and standards (e.g., ASNT, ISQ).
Interpret and evaluate UT results to identify indications and assess component condition.
Set up, calibrate, and operate UT equipment safely and accurately.
Complete field reports, inspection documentation, and client deliverables in a timely and professional manner.
Communicate findings to clients and Acuren supervisors clearly and effectively.
Ensure compliance with company and customer safety requirements at all times.
Work independently or as part of a crew in field and facility environments.
Assist in training and mentoring NDT assistants or Level I personnel, if needed.
Travel to job sites as required.
ISQ Ultrasonic Testing (UT) certification required.
Level II UT certification in accordance with ASNT SNT-TC-1A or equivalent.
Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
Strong understanding of UT principles, equipment, and data interpretation.
Ability to work in industrial environments including refineries, pipelines, and fabrication shops.
Good communication skills and attention to detail.
Willingness to travel and work varying schedules based on client needs.
Must be able to pass background checks and drug screening as required by site.
Additional NDT certifications (MT, PT, RT, etc.).
Previous experience in rope access, refinery, or turnaround environments.
TWIC card or ability to obtain one if needed.
