Position Summary

Responsibilities

  • Ensuring that accounting practices are in conformance with US GAAP
  • Managing the month end close process for US operations
  • Posting journal entries
  • Reconciliation of inter-company activity
  • Prepare and review balance sheet reconciliations
  • Variance and financial statement analysis
  • Oversight of sales & use tax filings as well as audits when necessary
  • Ensure the integrity of internal controls
  • Responsible for the accuracy of global fixed asset accounting
  • Responsible for global rent payment schedule & ASC 842 lease accounting
  • Assistance with Annual audit
  • Supervision of staff
  • Additional duties as assigned

Requirements

  • A minimum of four years accounting or business degree with an MBA or CPA preferred
  • 7+ years accounting experience with at least 2 years of supervisory experience.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office with strong Excel skills
  • Strong analytical skills
  • Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
  • Understanding of accounting systems; experience with SAGE500 & SAGE Fixed Assets preferred
  • Detail oriented
