Acuren is currenting seeking a Shipping & Receiving Clerk II for operations in Indianapolis, IN locaiton.

 

This position will be responsible for the shipping and receipt of material related to Acuren’s business operations for multiple service lines. Duties also include inventory management and storage.

Responsibilities

  • Ensuring all materials, tools, and related equipment are inventoried and maintained according to standards
  • Supporting management of inventory levels of materials, equipment and stock, making available those on high demand
  • Safe movement of materials within the warehouse and machine shop
  • Maintaining inventory rotation, disposing of and accounting for shop/warehouse materials
  • Maintaining equipment database information
  • Support the requisitions to restock material and equipment, obtaining approvals prior to any purchase
  • Communicating with suppliers to ensure order deliveries and resolve issues with stock and deliveries
  • Reconciling physical inventories with counts
  • Receiving materials, supplies and equipment, accurately matching packing slips against purchase orders
  • Maintaining a clean, safe and well-organized shop
  • Responding to service and equipment requests
  • Supporting management and scheduling of the flow of equipment/gear and supplies to and from project sites
  • Receiving materials, equipment, conducting inspections, ensuring scheduled maintenance needs are conducted

Requirements

  • High School Diploma
  • Forklift license
  • Experience with transportation of dangerous goods
  • Proficiency in MS Office (Outlook, Word, Excel)
  • Ability to multi task, organize tasks and manage time wisely
  • Work in team-based dynamic shop environment with many operating groups
  • Understanding of, and compliance with, responsibilities under the provincial Occupational Health and Safety Acts and Regulation, and Acuren Safety and Quality Management Systems, policies and procedures
  • MUST BE ABLE TO PASS DRUG/ALCOHOL AND BACKGROUND SCREEN PER CLIENT REQUIREMENTS.
