Position Summary

Acuren-logo---170px-wideAcuren is currently recruiting for Level II RT Technicians to support our operation in Bellingham, Washington. MT/PT/PMI/VT certifications would be beneficial. Valid TWIC card is required. The ideal candidates should be open to traveling up to 50% of the time, both in-state and out-of-state. Per diem compensation available when traveling

 

We are currently seeking local candidates based in Whatcom or Skagit county. While we welcome applications from all qualified individuals, local candidates are preferred due to the nature of the role.

 

MT/PT/PMI/VT a plus

Responsibilities

  • Set up and calibrate nondestructive testing equipment
  • Conduct tests to ensure quality or detect discontinuities (defects) using NDT methods of inspection
  • Establish techniques for proper examination of objects under inspection, ensuring strict adherence to safety regulations
  • Apply testing criteria in accordance with applicable specifications or standards and evaluate results
  • Interpret radiographs, cathode ray tube (CRT) or digital readouts, conductivity meters and visual indicators
  • Organize and report test results
  • Perform specialized inspections
  • May instruct and supervise others
  • Perform other job-related tasks as assigned by management

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Some college preferred
  • Certified Level II
  • Other certs (MT/PT/PMI/VT) would be beneficial
  • Technical background in NDT methods and procedures
  • Demonstrated ability to effectively perform assigned NDT tasks and interpret results of inspections
  • Knowledge of NDT equipment
  • Experience in report writing
  • Valid Drivers License
  • Motor Vehicle Driving record must meet company standards to drive company vehicles
  • Valid TWIC Card required 
  • Willing to travel up to 50%
  • Able to start position immediately
