Position Summary

Acuren-logo---170px-wideAcuren Inspection is currently recruiting for a Rope Access Regional Operations Manager to support our operations in Corpus Christi, TX. The Rope Access Regional Operations Manager responsible for estimating and managing divisional costs, as well as the overall direction, completion, and financial outcome of projects.

Responsibilities

  • Corresponds with Project Managers and the customer as necessary to complete projects.
    Responsible for the growth of the business through strategic planning, partnering with sales and management.
  • Responsible for assuring adequate staffing based on the needs of operations.
  • Full responsibility in managing Rope Access P&L.
  • Represent the company in a manner consistent with the company’s core values.
  • Monitor the utilization and distribution of manpower and ensure the equipment inventory is properly maintained and replenished.
  • Monitor material procurement to ensure project schedules are not adversely impacted, as well as, procure and manage the equipment/tools needed for the project.
  • Oversee the Execution of project objectives, company policies, procedures, and performance standards of all field personnel.
  • Plan, organize and staff field positions to accommodate the specific project requirements; working with the Project Managers to determine needs
  • Enforce Acuren Inspection ‘s company safety standards.
  • Walk-down and complete job estimates and proposal writing.
  • Serve as company representative and point of contact for rope access operations in the region.
  • Create a Development and Training plan for Rope Access.
  • Develop and maintain quality assurance and quality control programs.
  • Enforce standards and procedure for Acuren Inspection’s Rope Access Technicians.
  • Oversee, direct, and advise all asset management, training, and operations.
  • Develops, manages, and implements project plans of different degrees of complexity, which includes defining project deliverables, scope, milestones, budget, scheduling, and contingency plans for each phase of the project.
  • Embrace Acuren Inspection’s Safety culture, ensure entire site team is promoting and acting safely in everything they do.
  • Assist in incident investigations in regards to job hazards and reports of unsafe work conditions. 
  • Ensures bid documents are complete, current, and stored appropriately.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or another technical field OR two years of college or trade school in a construction and/or inspection related field
  • 5 years’ experience in the Construction or Rope Access Industry as a Project/Operations Manger
  • IRATA Level 1, 2, or 3 Certification preferred
