Acuren Inspection is currently recruiting for NESTED PAUT Technician.

 

SIGN-ON BONUS AND RELOCATION ASSISTANCE AVAILABLE FOR QUALIFIED APPLICANTS.

Responsibilities

  • Set up and utilize nondestructive testing equipment including mag yokes, UT thickness gauges, UT Flaw detectors, and automated UT equipment.
  • Calibrate nondestructive test equipment
  • Conduct tests to ensure quality or detect discontinuities (defects) using NDT methods of inspection
  • Follow Establish techniques for proper examination of objects under inspection, ensuring strict adherence to safety regulations
  • Apply testing criteria in accordance with applicable specifications or standards and evaluate results
  • Organize and report test results
  • Perform specialized inspections
  • Review of inspection reports, including assisting other technicians with reporting
  • Attending operational meetings with client engineers and project managers
  • Maintaining open lines of communication between clients and technicians
  • Assisting in technician training
  • Resolving any technical issues in the field
  • Reporting the results obtained from investigations
  • May instruct and supervise others
  • Perform other job related tasks by manager

Requirements

  • PAUT certification, including at least one third party accreditation (QUTE, QUPA, ISQSW, ISQPAUT)
  • HTHA / HIC / SOHIC Experience 

  • 5+ years experience in NDT
  • 2+ years experience with phased array / automated UT / advanced ultrasonics
  • TOFD experience is +, TOFD certification is ++

    As per applicable state law the job posting pay range is $45.00-$68.00/hr depending on experience and applicable certifications.
